Gratitude
For the last eighteen months, I’ve studied personal performance. Attitude and approach stand squarely at the heart of achieving your aspirations. Happiness, optimism and positivity are not outcomes of achievemet, but rather approaches to get more out of life. Science supports this fact. And, in both my research and personal experience, a happy, positive and optimistic approach starts with gratitude.
For instance, I’m grateful for you. Yes, you. And, I love to cheer you on and celebrate your success. You are part of the reason I’m always laughing and smiling. I appreciate you.
If you geniunely open your heart, mind and soul to the incredible things happening all around you, your view of the world begins to change for the better. When you change your view to appreciate the smaller things, the bigger things become clearer and more attainable. Instead of seeing situations as insurmountable, you begin to realize they are simply opportunities in work clothes.
So, if you are not getting what you want, consider stopping, looking and injecting daily moments of gratitude into your life.
